Known Issues
Login item issue: There has been an issue about QAL Pro not launching properly after a logout. Tried so many things to fix this, nothing worked until finding an unusual solution. It was to restart the app once within itself some time after its launch. This solution has been working well so far. Although unlikely, if triggered somehow, this could cause recurring restarts of itself indefinitely, which can result in, if in the background, quick drain of battery; if in the foreground, taking the focus causing user not to be able to click anything else until resolved. Considering these unlikely possibilities, decided to remove the fix. For now, don’t set QAL Pro as login item. If set, quit it from the menubar after logins, and then relaunch it.
Laggy scrolling issue: At times, the scrolling in the app window and the settings window gets laggy. And it stays in that laggy mode. The current workaround is to restart the app, which fixes the issue until it happens again.
